Hi,

I've fitted a new rear door, but over the past couple of weeks, it seems to have dropped a bit on the hinges. From what I can tell, the frame itself hasn't moved.

When the door closes now, the bottom corner on the side of the latch, scrapes across the bottom.

Do these doors have some sort of adjustment on the hinges? Or is it more likely that the hinges themselves have been damaged? It's a very heavy door and pretty big - 110cm wide, fully glazed.

I'll add some photos, which might help.

Thanks in advance!

Did you heel and toe the glazed unit? packers need to be placed in the bottom corners of the hinge side and the top corners of the lock side, to lift the door pull the door up off of the top packer and insert another packer.( this is a 2 man job if you are not experienced)

Toe and heeling should sort it ( search it up on the internet ) ...adjust on the hinges will work too , as it has probably just ' settled' after you have fitted it. I just hope you have four hinges on that door as at 1100 wide , thats wider than any manufacturer i've come across who will make a door that wide and still warranty it against dropping due to its inherent weight.....
