UPVC door handle replacement.

I’m trying to replace my French UPVC door handles as they have gone flaky. I live very close to the sea. I can remove the top screw but the bottom one is stuck on both handles. Tried applying WD50 overnight but still not budging, any idea would be greatly appreciated.
