We have a uPVC front door, fitted a few years ago. It has a "Yale Mantis" lock (according to what's written on the side of the door anyway!). In the last few days, the latch has been getting stuck in the door when the handle is fully pushed down - and the only way to free it is to push the latch with my finger and lift it up slightly. It's difficult to explain, so here's a video:

It's like the latch is getting stuck on the bottom somehow - you can hear and feel a very slight "click", and pushing it in and lifting the latch frees it. There's still plenty of "spring" in the latch, it's just getting stuck on something. I've given it a good WD40-ing to no avail. Does anyone know if there's an easy fix for this, or is it time to call a locksmith?

At a guess the internals are at fault, can't quite tell if that latch screws into the main internals ( you'll see a scree in the bit you've been pressing ) , sometimes they work loose an can cause some issues ... other than that its a new ' gearbox'
