Hi,

My front door closes and locks but it does not meet the frame fully.

The door meets the frame on the lock side of the door at the top and bottom but in the middle there is a gap as if the frame is to large for the door.

If the door is not fully locked you can just use extra pressure and push the door open without having to use the handle!

I hope this makes sense.

Any info on how to adjust the door to fix this woul be great!

This the gap by the handle, you can get the tip of your finger in there!

This is the top of the door frame. You can see the door fits in the frame and seals.

Thanks

Graham

Sounds like fixings in middle of door frame are to tight, measure daylight size at top and bottom of door then measure the middle if its bigger loosen of the fixings in the middle of door on the lock side and wedge a packer between door frame and wall.

Thanks for the advice. When u say packers u mean the multicoloured wedge shape things u can get in screwfix?

Sorry to sound dumb but I've nevered played with upvc stuff before.

Thats them you could just try wedging a chisel in there and trying it first
