Hi All,

Our upvc door is warped and after much adjustment still has some decent gaps which means our hall is permanently cold. The door needs replacing but in the meantime I want to replace the seals.

When I’ve looked at them they seem to be welded in the corners like the upvc itself and don’t readily budge when I try to remove them. Same on the frame too! Can this type definitely be removed and replaced with universal rubber seals?

These are co extruded gaskets and are bonded on during extrusion but with a sharp Stanley knife blade in one long motion you can slice it off, behind it should be a groove which will allow you to clip in a bubble type gasket
