uPVC Exterior door sill replacement... Without removing the frame?

Hi there, I've got 2 uPVC doors that lead round the back of my house to the rear garden, and years of abuse from my wife dragging wheelie bins, wheelbarrows, pushbikes and god knows what else, I've ended up with 2 pretty battered door sills....

Can you replace these without removing the frames? The one pictured actually feels pretty loose already, it's an ex council house and everything that's been done to it has been pretty shady like so I'm wondering if this is just glued in.

Hopefully the pics work, it's been a good 10 years since I used a forum and I can't remember the photo hosting game!!

not really , or rather yes , you can break the old one out but can't see you ever getting a new one in
 
Probably best to glue on an overcill (eurocell do something) or something in stainless or aluminium.
