UPVC Window handle doesnt work. where to buy

Hi,

Ive moved into my girlfriends house and it needs little work to say the least.

One of my issues is the Handle for the windows ( more than one) dont really work, i think they are very cheap UPVC Double glazed windows,

The handles turn but the window can be opened when its closed. one of the windows doesnt have a handle and i can see the square plate insdie is rounded.

is it easy to find and fit these?

One of the upstairs windows wont close properly, but i think this is just the alignment of the locks..

Im hoping its possible to just buy and fit new handles and internals. if so where the best place or would b+Q do it ( if Do It All all knew it, they be doing it as well )

i'll get my coat.......lol

but if anyone can asnwer my qestion that would be great!!

Are there any markings on the handles that are left over that'd give you an idea what make they are? you could try http://www.[b]***Removed***[/b].html who have online chats and stuff to help you pick the right ones. Hope this helps mate.[/url]

Thanks guys i'll have a browse on those sites and let you know how i get on.

just had a look at the handles and i cant see any names or marks.

I now know more about UPVC Locks and handles than i ever thought i would LOL.
