When I tried to just tape the flex pipe from the waste it just cracked, it's very brittle.
I am thinking of inserting a a 30mm pipe in the flex (that is going through the wall) and then put an elbow and then join a straight length to connect to the black waste pipe. Anyway that's my layman thinking.
You'll have to cut out the joints (poss 40mm), and get down to merchants/Band Q to get some new ones, plus some new solvent weld pipe and a pot of solvent weld glue. You will also one one or two solvent weld connectors to join onto the existing pipe.
When cutting pipes, file down the rough edges, put solvent weld glue on both surfaces, and push together. Leave undisturbed for a couple of hours.
Its not a flexible pipe, its a solvent weld elbow, glued to solv. w. pipe. Doesn't bend.
I am only hoping that the flex hose inside the brickwork is not as brittle as the exposed side. As it stands it's not flexible anymore and the exposed/outside part is quite brittle.
The UV rays in sunlight have got to it, does send plastics brittle over time. Need to renew all the brittle section, section the other side of the wall should be ok as it wont have been affected by the sun.
Some manufacturers recommend plastics are painted externally to protect them from sunlight.
