URGENT HELP WITH INDEST WID126 PLEASE

Hi All,

My machine is about 6 months old, I have just put a load on and i have the 'door lock' and the 'spin 1200 to 600' light flashing at me?

It is making a weird hummin noise from within, And wont do anything? It pumps water in the stops, Trys again then stops, then the lights flash and thats it?

Please help asap

Turn's out its not registering the door lock?

Indest want £99 to come and see it as its showing was sold in sep 08 ( year has gone quick)

Is there anything i can do?

If you can't get it cheaply repaired, maybe contact the original retailer you bought it from and quote the Sales of Good act at them as it is reasonable to expect a washing machine to last more than one year providing you have never over loaded it:

should be fixed under warranty,
if not interlocks are cheap and easy to replace try these people

spin light flashing is a error code, all the door locks flash to indicate a fault .poss got a pcb fault check the error codes here.

f01 light 4, motor triac
f02 light 3 motor, jammed/ tacho
f03 lights 3&4 Ntc fault
f04 light 2. pressure sw stuck on empty
f05 lights 2&4, pressure sw stuck on full
f06 lights 2&3, N/A?
f07 lights 2&3&4 heater relay
f08 light 1. heater relay
f09 lights 1&4 eprom/setup error
f10 lights 1&3, pressure switch not sensing
f11 lights 1&3&4, pump/draining error
f12 lights 1&2, communication error
f13 lights 1&2&4, dryer ntc/ fan motor
f14 lights 1&2&3, dryer heater
f15 lights 1&2&3&4, dryer heater relay
f16 N/A
f17 light 4, door lock
f18 light 3 comms error (3 phase motor) power board

So in this instance with the second light flashing the error code would be f04 light 2. pressure sw stuck on empty
