Ive just filled a hole in a concrete floor with about 6 inches of concrete. Im about an inch short of floor level, wife is out with car so cant pop out for another bag.
How long do i have before it dries out?
Can i add last inch once its dry?
Or can i finish with some cement later?
Some of it will also have a levelling compound laid later.
Or am i knackered?

If ok should i scuff it up?

You can use some self leveling compound up to 50mm, so if its not a large area you will be fine topping it up with self level gear.

Compound is only covering part of it and some might be over 50mm. Kitchen cabinet will bo over most so feet of that. I can get another back in a couple of hours but is that too late

If you can do it in a couple of hours thats ok, wet the area slightly and and rough it up a bit, and it will be fine, also if you have some plastic sheeting cover with that to help stop it drying out.
