Sorry if this has asked before but I want to save 6-7GB ipod music onto an external device in case my computer crashes. I don't want a big external hard drive as these tend to have way more capacity than I need. I was looking at a 8GB stick, has anyone ever tried this or had problems with this method or any tips please. Thanks

There should be no problem, although it may take a while to copy it all onto the stick.

Have a search around, Amazon dot co dot uk does some good prices.

Thanks for that, not being a computer wiz could I then download that stick onto another pc (ie my sisters ) so she could have all our tracks on hers

If I were you I would save them to 2 or 3 smaller sticks, I used an 8gb one, after a few uses it stopped working, I lost everything on it.

Has she purchased those tracks previously?

Although.... a DVDR can cost as little as 10p these days.

Oh go on, even splash out on expensive ones for a pound each....

You would only need 2 in order to save all these files & transfer them to your sisters PC.

Using DVD's is far cheaper than a USB memory stick & providing you have a DVD writer in your PC its very easy to do.
