I am a sound engineer, and currenty use a laptop running stripped down WinXP, with a dual screen for effects, sound monitoring software etc, utilising both monitors.

Im looking at getting a small touchscreen monitor somthing like http://tinyurl.com/3636thd

does anyone have experiance of these? my idea is to have this easily reachable to use the software buttons of my cue software on, ie go/fade and thats about it.

I currently use a small trackball, but the button is on its way out, so need a replacement, and this seems ideal.

my main query is its compatibility with WinXP already running 2 monitors on extended desktop, only ever used more from a 4 head graphics, with its dedicated software.

Only problem I can see Tim, is the size of this monitor. It's only 8". Probably far too small to be of any practical use. That combined with the extra level of software used to control the touchscreen might render the controls a bit slow???
