Ok so a while back i got the plasterer to board a wall up and cover the copper piping thats been chased into the wall and up to the basin.

He’s used dot and dab to fill in the hole.

Will the pipes be ok in contact with dot and dab or will it ruin the piping?

The pipes are inside the dot and dab in the photo

Wrap the pipe with Denzo and be aware where these pipes are in future.

Always best the run pipes vertically low level and horizontal to the side if possible. Never good to run diagonally

basically he's used plaster to fill that chase up? Not ideal but it will take a long time to affect the copper but chances are it will crack badly over time with the hot and cold cycles trough the pipework anyway. Should have covered it with conduit then plastered over it.

Sorry just seen picture.

Would this serving a vanity basin?

The important thing is protecting the copper

So would you recommend ripping it all put and starting again?

Its serving a basin shelf so i couldn’t really have the pipes outside the wall.

Debating whether to rip it out and start again or leave it in

Protection of pipes the main thing
Why don't you tile the basin area to the skirt then put the basin on the tiles

Thats what i’m planning with the tiling, but i dont want to begin tiling over to find those pipes will erode and i’ll have to rip them out in a few years time

Still not really got a clear answer for this...

Should i rip all the plaster out to get back to the pipes or will the pipes be ok where they are?
