Hey is it ok to run 15mm pipes down the corner of a room with nail in clips then let the plasterer dot and dab over them or do they need chasing in? Also are they ok on external walls or can the pipes freezing be an issue? Thanks for any information,

As long as they are not gas pipes then generally yes.

Anything will freeze if you don't have any heat in the house.

It will not be a problem at all and is done quite often on new builds purely for aesthetic reasons

You will be surprised how many cable pipes and all sorts are hidden behind dot and dab plasterboard :D

But remember where you put them because when you drill holes for your curtain poles, tie backs etc. you can get an elegant water feature if you drill through one of the pipes...

Thanks if putting copper behind dot and dab plasterboard does it need protecting in anyway?

get some push on (stitched) hair felt & put it over the pipes before you clip them
