Hey is it ok to run 15mm pipes down the corner of a room with nail in clips then let the plasterer dot and dab over them or do they need chasing in? Also are they ok on external walls or can the pipes freezing be an issue? Thanks for any information,

It will not be a problem at all and is done quite often on new builds purely for aesthetic reasons
You will be surprised how many cable pipes and all sorts are hidden behind dot and dab plasterboard

But remember where you put them because when you drill holes for your curtain poles, tie backs etc. you can get an elegant water feature if you drill through one of the pipes...
Assuming they're water pipes just wrap them with electrical tape.
