Hi there! how are you? just a question. i have to buy a second hand milling machine and i came across this website, i think it is german: www.surplex.com/en.

i would like to get an opinion on this either positive or negative as there are so many fake online companies and i am bit scared

any help should be really appreciated

At first sight it looks like a largish outfit - having multiple languages on the site is usually a good sign. But if in any doubt, for a British company I'd look them up at Companies House (you can look up basic information for free online) - I assume there's a similar organisation & facility for German companies.

Also, if it's a personal (ie consumer rather than business) purchase, then pay by credit card. By law, if the purchase is between £100 and £30k then the credit card company is jointly liable which means you can claim from the credit card company if a dispute with the supplier can't be worked out.
