Using a solid state relay to switch a heating element

Just an idea not sure if any good as quite ugly and usually sited out the way, we use these to operate the gas valves , they sense the fans running via 2 hollow probes

These are used to prove fans are running in commercial kitchens. There are two nozzles, one should go either side of the fan, a positive and negative pressure. You can get away with fitting just one nozzle and connecting just one, but it's best with one either side of the fan.

We don't use these for fan proving on gas interlocks any longer, they grunge up too quick in the greasy extract. We use current monitoring of the fans. http://duomo.co.uk/product/fp45-current-monitor/
