Using alternative to photoshop

I have used Photoshop for years, but new PC and can't find the code to enter to get it to work, so seems I now need to use some thing else, so Gimp and Rawtherapee to do most of the work, plus Photomatrix, but can't remember the name of the stitching software, can anyone help with the name, then I can down load current version.

Actually, when I had a problem with Photoshop Elements, when restoring my computer, I telephoned Adobe who were very helpful. Presumably, they will have a record of you when you first opened it and logged in.

Thank you, I remembered the name Hugin. The old computer was my late dad's so technically I should not have been using it.

Installed but not tried using it again, hope I can remember how.

As a replacement to photoshop I used to use paint.net, which is now found at www.getpaint.net
