Any issues doing this?

I had a spare 500w outdoor floodlight doing nothing so I've took the flex of that to wire a couple of downlights and the dimmer switch.

I was going to get some 1mm t&e but thought I'd use the spare flex.

The flex is clipped in the loft.

Any problems doing this??

No problem because it is flex. You could wire the whole house with flex.

It must, of course, be suitable for the application.
