Using floor tile adhesive/grout on the walls

Hi, never done any tiling of any sorts before, looking to put 8 ceramic tiles behind a bathroom sink as a wee splashback, my father's got a bucket of ready mixed floor tile adhesive and grout left over (unibond I think), would this be any use on a wall?

Seems a shame to buy a new pack of something when I only need a wee drop?

Sure it would be fine as long as he's not had it long. This little job aside, its awful stuff for floors\walls\anywhere to be honest and i'd not have used it on the floor in the first place
