Can i use all purpose interior filler to fill a few small gaps in MDF joins, or should i use a wood filler?

I always use 2part polyester filler. The sort thats used for bodywork
As said, it dries very quick, fairly crack resisitant, and sand down easily.

Got a nice smell too ;)

Be a real struggle to fill tiny gaps in joints as requested.
