I am looking for an adaptor to connect from a 100mm dust outlet on a planer to a 40mm OD (35mm ID) hose on my dust extractor. Can any help? TIA

Rutlands have a selection of step adaptors:

Would likely need to join a couple together for what you seek.

Just curious have you tried the planer to the extractor (in a make shift connection). The last planer I had would easily clog a hose of the size you suggest in no time with the size of chippings it shaved off.
One of the most demanding of machines in my view, when it comes to size of ducting required for efficient and clean operation.
