Hi all...

Is it possible to convert my Ecotec plus 837 to run on LPG?
Or am I better off just buying a dedicated LPG boiler?

I keep getting conflicting advice from local plumber... some say yes some say they think so and others just shrug their shoulders:-0

Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Some can be converted, some can't. Some just need a simple gas valve adjustment, some need a whole new gas valve. An LPG qualified Gas Safe Registered engineer will be able to find out what's needed from Vaillant, but they'll need the long-form model number and serial number off the data badge, and possibly some money

But how come you want to do this? Has your house been taken off the gas grid or do you just happen to have a spare NG boiler that you want to install in your LPG-fuelled home?
