Hi all.
I have an ecomax824e and it is giving me grief.
I have already replaced divertor valve 3 months ago and that was ok, then had to replace temperature sensor, that was ok.
Now I get back from weekend away and had fault40 when I returned !!
I changed fuse on main board then had fault 32 so replaced fan unit today (been cold for last 3 days !!)
I put everyting back together and powerred on system and all looked ok, hot water, heating etc.
Then I looked closer and notice after 15 seconds of code 4 (heateing) it changed to 2 (purge, then after another 15 second went back to 4 for CH.
This cyle goes on every 15 seconds !!
It is the same for DHW, every 15 seconds it ourges and then re ignites.
When I replaced fan unit I did not notice any sensors in burner unit only the electrode and that looked ok.
So I have the same fault on DHW and CH weher it stays on for 15 seconds, goes off fo 15secs then back on, all normal codes displayed, no fault codes.
Please help and dont say it is new pcb required, (over £200) it would have been cheaper to throw this think out and replace it !!
