Hi everyone, what would be the process of replacing a diverter valve for the Vaillant boiler? is it a major job and what would the steps be?
Thanks for your help.
The heating isolating valves under the boiler incorporate drain valves. Probably get about half a bucket full.
To re-fill you use the filling loop. This is usually built into the boiler. Front right corner underneath. Two valves. Use flat blade screwdriver to open and turn OFF once pressure reaches 1 bar.
some silicone grease for the plate he oring would be a good idea also. Additionally, the isolation valves turn alot better with a correctly sized allen key.
