VAILLANT 831 not reaching temp

If I removed the Vaillant control…
As in just pulled it out would it need some sort of blank putting over it

Yes, blanking plates are available or a time clock 150. Try factory reset for parameters

Ok….. heating is working perfectly….
Although the boiler seems to be going hot to Luke warm when it’s been on a couple of minutes
Do you think this is a faulty part or something I may have messed with in the settings
Thanks in advance

Are we talking heating or hot water?

Could be a few things. Do you have preheat turned on?

Preheat heats the water ready for use at the tap and give boiler time to ramp up.
You will see letter ‘c’ displaying for preheat.

If you just open a hot tap juust sufficient to give a moderate flow does it stay hot?, if you then open the HW tap fully does it then run hot and cold?
