Vaillant Boiler Problem

Hi,

I have a problem with my boiler. I can switch the heating on, but only by manually flicking the pilot light switch. The light ignites and the heating comes on.

The problem in when I have the timer on, by the time it comes for the heating to automatically switch on, it doesn't. There is a green flashing light at a symbol which looks like an egg timer (two triangles one on top of the other). I have to flick the pilot light switch to get the heating on again.

I don't think that was the best explanation, but not sure how else to put my problem across.

Any comments or advise would be appreciated. Thanks

But your boiler does not have a pilot light.

Telling us the model is always a good idea.

start with power off

switch on and watch the sequence of lights then post
