Vaillant Combi Compact VCW GB 242 E - No CH, Hot Water OK

Hot water on demand works OK. With heating selected - CH pump runs, but no ignition, no gas, no fan. I don't have access to any equipment manuals or users guide - any thoughts or suggestions would be gratefully received.
Boiler is approx 7 yrs old - is it worth considering replacement rather than cost of repair/spares?
