Vaillant Combination Boiler

Central heating OK, hot water OK, but bar gauge only reads 0.5 and drops to 0 when hot water turned on.
Handbook recommends minimum bar 0.8, how do you raise this pressure.
Boiler less than 10 years old, either type242/1E or 282/1E

Just top up the water, you should find the filling loop very near the boiler. It usually looks like an armoured flex hose about a foot long going from the mains (15mm) to the heating return (22mm)

It's a Vaillant, you might need the little silver key if it's got an integral filling loop (Turbomax Plus).
