Hi, hope that someone can shed some light on this please....
I have a full Vaillant system (ecoTec plus 624, VR66, VRC430f, Unistor cyl) but the Unistor has a thermostat not the VR10 NTC sensor.
I changed the stat over to the VR10- depowered, disconnected the stat at the VR66, wired the VR10 to the NTC terminals of the VR66, but although the VRC430 is reporting the cyl temp correctly (so the VR66 is recognising the VR10) the boiler doesn't fire to heat the cyl (CH works as normal).
The boiler shows no faults, I've reset the VRC430, and repowered the whole system with no success, so I've restored the stat and all is well again.
Vaillant technical say that they think they may have seen this a couple of times before, but their expert won't be in until later next week.
Has anyone got any insight into what I may have missed? Or is it more likely to be a faulty component?
