I've recently had this boiler serviced and I'm waiting for a new filter and grommit to be fitted. The engineer topped up the system when it was serviced on 27th Oct.
Seven days later it flashed e75 and I restarted and refilled the system although it took extra effort to restart and sounded sluggish.
Today 5 more days later it was again flashing e75 and needed restarting but it will not let me fill it up, when I turn the taps no water flows into the system and its 0.6 bar. It was 0.7 bar at first but while trying to refill it at one stage I accidentally turned the left hand tap (as I look at it) to off and turned the right tap and heard water but I'm guessing this is the way to empty the system because I then heard water flowing and the bar went down. I have never known how to empty the system if its accidentally overfilled but is this the way then?
I have switched off at the wall several times and restarted but it still will not let me fill it up. Also its a bit confusing as the info window seems to be saying the central heating is on although its set to off so not sure if the computer is a bit confused.
I have been using the heating everyday so thats why it will have gone down faster although its obvious something is wrong. This boiler is 6 yrs old in December.
