Vaillant Exotec28 Filling Loop

Hi all,

Getting an F.22 error on a Valiant Ecotec28 and having issues getting a plumber out (rented flat). Does anyone have an idea of where the other end of the filling loop would be? Would like to think it was the other identical fixture that I can take some pliers to but don't fancy flooding my flat or blowing it up. Cheers!

Have a look for the loop/braided hose on top of the boiler

Cheers mate, there's an unmatched loop on top of the boiler - do I need to connect it in some way?

Yes, the 2 blanks in the 1st photo are to be removed, ensure the left hand valve is off, your right hand valve is. Attach the loop hand right to both valves, open 1 valve and slowly open the other. On the front there's some rectangular buttons, press any to light the blue display and take the pressure to above the first set of dotted lines and turn off the valves, remove loop (some water will be left in it, so place thumb over one end) and refit the blanks.
