Vaillant Flue Location

Hi,

Just looking at the documentation for the boiler installation for the EcoTEC 618 System.

It shows on page 14 a table of the distances away from items where you can terminate the flue. There are two items that confuse me:

A: Directly below an opening, above an opening or horizontal
to an opening, air brick, opening window, etc. 300mm

J: From an opening (e.g. door, window) into the dwelling. 1200mm

Which should I be following? The reason why this is relevant is that there is no place on any wall of my house which is 1200mm away from an opening.

Isnt 'J' showing it terminate under a carport?

Who has carports anyway?
