can anyone tell me what room stat for a vaillant ecotec pro 24
I know the installation instructions say vrt 30 or the vrt 50 but is it ok to use any make etc the boiler is fitted with the mechanical time clock 150 if that makes any difference ?
(What's the deference between the using the 24v and the 230v)
Looking at the wiring diagram is it correct to take a live feed from the boiler live in and then connect the return from the roomstat to the rt terminal after removing the 24v link
So then is this a two wire thermostat as I always thought thermostats needed 3 wires ?
I'm also assuming if I use the vrt 50 I would just remove the 24v link and connect to that (also two wire) ?
