I had to spend a little time working it out

So did I Tony, Off the wall and out the house

Whats' life like in the kitchen then Craig? Going through Industrial at the moment and finishing with comcats,

Brilliant ChrisR, Eat what you want, NEVER get charged in takeaways, VIP treatment and no bill in good resteraunts, best of all have a look in any phone book, ect, Pages and pages of domestics odd one in catering
Plus the rate is much higher for commercial £££££££££'s

I used to be registered for industrial boilers and warm air. I have not renewed!

It was a real pain, few calls and all those were the same situation. A large system, no information and no maintenance for last 10 years with water dripping from all the pump seals etc. They never wanted it sorted out properly just made to work for the minimum cost.

I was not registered for catering but thats where most of the work is. Seriously dirty kitchens made me want to be sick. Cookers 10 mm thick with grease and dirt.

But the biggest problem with catering in London is that they pay their catering workers £4 an hour and dont understand that a gas engineer needs 10 times that rate. Thats a fortune in India or Iran !

Ever so true Tony, seeing the kitchens and meeting the chefs gives an insight to how the place is run, Iam sure you'll agree if yourself and many others on here seen the clip of some of the places you use on a regular basis then you would stop going.

Speaking of going, Im on my way shortly, food drink and FA final. Home sometime tomorrow, great I've got the little lady home this weelend and she's having it with me 8) 8) , been a while since we had a weekend off together

That was another problem!

Seeing how virtually all catering staff smoke at every opprotunity makes me think they never wash their hands after going to the loo let alone before starting food preparation.

Thats another bad omen!

I love food and eating out. I virtually never eat anywhere where I have seen their kitchens.

There is one surprising exception! Local Turkish kabab house is spotlessly clean and the only place I accept the food they always offer me without any hesitation.
