Boiler had a couple of goes at lighting, pilot for half a second, about 3 times, then lockout. May well need purging, but the gas supply is short and all the pipes are jammed in so nothing leaks when you undo any nuts  . So I thought , keep trying and it'll get through.
But the boiler wouldn't reset - solid flame failure lockout light wouldn't go out.

Anything other than the pcb?

(pump isn't stuck)

I told you industrial is not worth the bother!

You probably know this, but if the led flashes, it indicates a pcb problem. solid lockout is normal after 3 failed attempts on this model.
Bit unlikely, but it could be the board does not see the reset button. Did not get from your post if you can get the light out or not.
Pilot on for a second does sound like air in the gaspipe. Freak air bubble that did not come out?

Did you remember what I told you about the hidden o/h stat???

Tony

Ben
The lockout light won't go out. No action after the initial failed lighting attempts. Could be the switch, yes.

Agile Yes Tony I know about the overheat stat thanks.
And it isn't Industrial - which is going fine thanks!

Isnt this the same pair you said were installed in a factory?
