Hi After servicing above boiler there is a delay on the heating side. Hot water fires up instantly. But when thermostat is turned on, the Heating light comes on at boiler, but there is a 3 to 5 min delay before boiler fires up for heating. If i turn boiler off then on again it fires up instantly. Works fine when fired up. can anyone shed light on this. thanks

Sounds normal operation to be honest. Anti-cycle delay stops it firing up from the slightest temp drop. Also occurs after tap has been run

Turning the mains off resets it.

I dont think this boiler has anything quite so clever!

If you knew which there may be a link on the PCB though.

there is a black terminal fly lead on the pcb (larger horizontal one) that plug into one of 3 postions
one is meant for all trv installations
the old vuw 242 had something similar on the main motherboard.
