Hi After servicing above boiler there is a delay on the heating side. Hot water fires up instantly. But when thermostat is turned on, the Heating light comes on at boiler, but there is a 3 to 5 min delay before boiler fires up for heating. If i turn boiler off then on again it fires up instantly. Works fine when fired up. can anyone shed light on this. thanks

Sounds normal operation to be honest. Anti-cycle delay stops it firing up from the slightest temp drop. Also occurs after tap has been run

Turning the mains off resets it.

Can you go into installer set up and change the delay on these?

I dont think this boiler has anything quite so clever!

If you knew which there may be a link on the PCB though.

there is a black terminal fly lead on the pcb (larger horizontal one) that plug into one of 3 postions
one is meant for all trv installations
the old vuw 242 had something similar on the main motherboard.
