Hi,

I have a query relating to the cover panel retaining clip for the above boiler. I am not sure which boiler it is in the series, but I understand that the cover and clip concerned are the same on other boilers in the series. I have included a photo of the exposed panel. The retaining clip is in the small recess at the top of the panel in the centre.

The actual clip has broken. I have sourced a replacement part, but I don't know how to get the broken one out to replace it.

I would appreciate any assistance.

Are you referring to the spring clip that secures the combustion chamber front cover?..

No steel he means that black bit that holds the controls cover up.

It pushes in it wasn't designed to be replaced.
I'd probably just try and grab it and pull it out with needle pliers.

Thanks for your replies. Phil, you're correct. If you look at the photo I attached, it's the small dark recess, centre, top.
