Vaillant VCW 242 Boiler

You would be better posting a pic of the isolation valve you want , there are loads of 242 vaillant boilers it just means 24Kw and the 2 means it is a combination boiler, gets very confusing when ordering parts
WOW that is an old boy , doubt you will get a replacement valve for that nut just replace it with anything that fits both ends at the end of the day no one ever uses isolation valves as they always leak after
I got someone to service it this week and they shut off the heating water flow to the boiler by turning that valve. Should they have touched it? That's why it's leaking, Can you service the boiler without touching that valve?
If i put silicon on the nut will that help seal the leak?
