Vaillant VR61 differences.

Hi,

Could explain to me the differences between the VR61/2, VR61/3 and the VR61/4 products? I can not find any info on the net.

I had the exact same question and was told by technical @ vaillant.co.uk that the VR 61, VR 61/2, VR 61/3 and VR 61/4 are different revisions of the same product. "They are backwards compatible but not always forward compatible." The VR61/4 is the current version, and they assured me it will be compatible with my VRC 430f controller.

I couldn't find anywhere a more detailed description of the differences between these versions, nor any compatibility matrix.

61/4 compatible with the latest control's ( and previous) 61/1 compatible with controls at the time.

no major differences just their update to work with latest ranges (and previous!)
