I noticed one of my hall radiators needed bled yesterday and on doing so seemed to have messed up my Vallaint boiler. There is an F20 error code and the red light has come on indicating that there is no pilot light on in the boiler. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to rectify this problem? There is no manual for the boiler and like others have said I can't see any details to inform me of the model name. I don't have a clue how to opperate the four circular bottons - one has an image of a flame with a cross over it which I presume is something to do with the pilot, the other top one has an "I" which I guess means information but the others don't have any obvious image other than + and -ve so I'm none the wiser!.

Help! Could really do without a callout charge just before Christmas!

Check the pressure gauge, if you've been venting rads then it might be a bit low, if it is top it up & press the reset button (the one with the flame on it). F28 is low pressure are you sure it's F20?

F20 = Over heat cut off activated. repesurise system, press lock out button to restore normal working :)

Thanks for the speedy replies. Couple more requests:

How do I top up the pressure? The gauge is at 0

How do I resart the pilot

Not getting any F code messages now!

That's not working either. The pilot is out and there is no pressure showing. Need to start the thing up - don't even know how to do that!
