the weekend just gone, the water from the hot tap was as cold as ice.. heating working fine...
I reset the boiler and left it a few hours after which it was hot again...
came in tonight and the same thing happened, ice cold hot water.. left the tap running for 5 mins nothing..
have turned the power off to the boiler for 5 mins and turned it on again.. will check the water later and report on temp..
in the mean time, any ideas what may be causing it?
FYI, the last error codes listed were
1 - nnn
2 - F28
3 - --- ( and the rest were the same as this.. )
ADDITIONAL>>>> two weeks ago the water was shut off in our street for emergency repairs and the shower and taps were heard gurgling as the water drained off and sucked air back into the pipes... ( much spluttering of taps when water was restored.. )
could this be the cause?
