Not unusuall for this fault to be caused by a faulty flame supervision board

what happened to the post by the bloke trying to sell him a board

He just boarded the 15.17 from djakarta to hull, and if the seas are calm and the wind kind, due to arrive the 4th of june.

You mean you have been to djakarta without contacting Raden of CET first?

Its a long trip by sea.

I thought air travel was fast but yesterday arrived after about 17 hours to cover 5031 miles and feeling quite tired.

Bit frightening as it was -60° for most of the journey in a 777 at FL 380 and the one that crashed short at Heathrow with iced up fuel was only flying at -35. However it landed fine presumably using the powered approach and the fuel line may well have already been modified.

However working out the price per mile it was under 4p which is less that the cost of petrol for my car!

No, the plane had its own two engines!

Of course the fuel iceing problem only applies to those fitted with RR RB211 engines and not to other engines which might be fitted to that plane.

Indonesia has its very own plane, the CN235 and CN250 - built entirely with out outside help (with the exception of the 200 or so contractors who used to clock in every morning)

ISTRI replied to the OP but some goblok obviously moderated it out

Designed 30 years ago in Spain you mean, and assembled cheaply in indonesia under western management.

Unless things changed recently, indonesia has never developed anything industrial on its own.

Ssssh you're not allowed to say that - we all had to hide when official visitors came around

Based on the CASA plane, yes, but borrowed lots from Boing
