Valliant symbols

We've recently had a valliant ecotec plus 624 installed and when I turn it on to heat the hot water a radiator symbol appears. The tap symbol never comes on and a timer symbol occasionally flashes. It appears to be heating the tank up though. Is this normal/anything to worry about?

As you don't have Vaillant controls the boiler doesn't know what it's heating. There is nothing to worry about.
