However there are many different causes for that and all would require a CORGI, with the exception of a faulty PCB which possibly could be changed by a DIYer.
However, there is no point in randomly changing the expensive PCB unless its confirmed its the faulty part.
So the best advice for your friend would be to get a competent CORGI who is registered to work on LPG boilers.
ah right im a corgi registered engineer but havnt got LPG. am going to pop along on weekend and have a look see whats what just he probably aint got the manual. cheers tho
