Hi looking at installing some led lights in back on van. Purchased some off ebay which are 2 wires connection.Can I connect straight to the interior light to power as I want to come on when rear /side door opens . There are 3 wires going into the interior light . Do I require a link between 1 of the wires?

I guess you want to illuminate the back of your van a bit more than the standard lights?
If I recall correctly, the rear lights are controlled by a module that turns the lights off after a time and the 12v supply just disappears.
Before you get stuck in, use a voltage tester to see if this happens.....if it does, its best to find another supply and use a separate switch.
