I have 3 Duravit undermount basins that I bought cheap brand new off eBay. Plan was to buy the Duravit vanity units and use these basins but Duravit refused to sell me the vanity unit without the basins.

So I have now have these 3 basins left over but still have 2 bathrooms to kit out. So I was wondering if I could make my own vanity units. Thinking of using a nice piece of veneered wood (we bought brushed walnut from Duravit for the other two vanity units) and cutting a hole in them for the basins.

Any idea where I could buy such a piece of veneered wood?

Or any other ideas of how I could make a vanity unit to use these basins?

Loathe to buy from Duravit again due to the high cost, although the units do look very good.
