Hi. I've a Varem heat exchanger in my heating system for hot water. It's one that can be extended, as in more plates can be added. The plates are leaking a bit. It's in about 5 year and prob has been leaking all the time. Can the plates be overtight, or will I try and tighten the whole lot up a bit? Thanks for your help.

Plate HE will need stripping down, whilst in bits you may as well descale the plates then it's re-assembly using new seals
