Hi, I have an existing wooden floor which I will be keeping. I want to lay carpet over three quarters of the floor. Leaving a walkway down one side of the room on the wooden floor boards. The carpet area therefore will be raised.
Edging the carpet:
I once saw a brass quarter round strip that was used for this purpose and thought it looked rather nice. Although I have no idea if this is the most practical solution or what that would be referred to and called.
The question is really to gather more information about the various edging techniques to join these two up; (in this configuration) - and their pro's and cons.
Thanks very much.
