Vaulted ceiling to loft conversion?

I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice - a house I am looking at buying has a partially vaulted ceiling, and I was wondering if this would prevent or seriously complicate any future loft conversion? It's a London terraced house, and it's the back half of the roof from the ridge that is vaulted (i.e. the area in which you'd want to put a dormer window).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Shouldn't be a prob if you can afford to lose the extra height in the room, and are prepared to have to remove and replace the ceilings.
